  1. My husband is very happy with this watch winder I purchased for his birthday. It matches his cufflink box, so I’m happy… and it helps him keep all his watches in rotation, which might not happen if I’d purchased him a two-watch winder instead. There are 4 settings that allow you to wind the watch at different rates, so this is helpful.

I purchased this winder for my husband’s rolex and it worked fine for the first 2 years that he owned it. It was a little loud, we had to keep it in a separate room from our bedroom because the noise woke me up every 15 minutes. After two years, it stopped working. I suppose that two years is a relatively long time for something like this but I expected it to last longer. Won’t be purchasing another winder from this company.

I’ve had this unit for about 2 years. In its first year I only used it for light, leather banded watches and it worked great. In its second year I got a heavier Omega Seamaster stainless, and I think the weight of the watch broke the mechanism. Get something else.

I was really pleased to discover this watch winder is silent.

It works well keeping my watch wound up and ready to wear.

Very attractive item sitting there on the dresser.

It has three different winding modes and Im using mode three for my Seiko Automatic Sport Watch.

Never again will I not wear the watch for a few days and go to get it and it needs set and wound up.

So far I really recommend the winder.

Steinhausen are masters at making low quality junk that looks expensive. It does look pretty nice … it even looks like real wood. Mine was so loud I had to keep it in the spare bedroom. When it died after two years, I opened it up and WOW! Inside was the cheapest looking motor I’ve ever seen, with big globs of hot glue holding things together. The case is thin plastic with a paper veneer coated in very shiny lacquer.

Spend a few extra bucks on an Intica. Real wood, a real motor, and real quiet.
